Secrets of the Gold by Baer Charlton is an interesting read. One does not know what to expect in this book. One is escaping a harsh life and the other is blind-sided to what his life was like. Together, these two individuals find the answers they search for on their journey. At first, I wondered about the pairing. But the characters worked. Suspenseful, engaging, and entertaining Secrets of the Gold is a mystery that readers do not want to miss.
