When Angela Donnelly heads to Arizona for a family event, she meets older and hotter than hell, Garrett James.
Garrett runs a small concert venue on the outskirts of Phoenix…and that’s about as close as he wants to come to the music biz. "...Angie is definitely looking for more than the casual that Garrett believes their relationship to be. Things are messy. As usual, Shaw creates characters that can be hard to like. Garrett is not easy to connect to. He treats Angie like crap but Angie keeps fighting for them. Their flameout moment is painful to read about, but very necessary. Garrett has to deal with his past which he has been avoiding for years and years. With all of this, I still couldn't put the book down."
